Terms and conditions for cabin rentals

Booking a Cabin

You can book a cabin by phone, email, or directly through our online booking calendar. The person making the reservation must be of legal age (18+).

Booking Fee
Summer weeks: A booking fee of 250 € is required.
Shorter stays / Off-season: A booking fee of 150 € is required.
The booking fee must be paid within two weeks of making the reservation.

Final Payment
The remaining balance can be paid at the time of booking, three days before arrival via bank transfer or upon arrival in cash or by credit/debit card.

Cancellations
If the booking fee is not paid on time, the reservation will be cancelled. The booking fee is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued if the guest arrives late, leaves before the end of the rental period, or if the stay is terminated due to disruptive behavior.

Arrival
Please inform us of your estimated arrival time in advance so a staff member can be present to show you the cabin.

Check-in locations
Our Home Farm: Helvetinkoluntie 707 (Wild boar and ostrich farm). Restaurant Helvetin Portti: Helvetinkoluntie 775, Ruovesi.

Included in the Rental
The rental price includes firewood, electricity, water, and basic cleaning supplies.

Check-out
Guests must vacate the cabin by 12:00 PM (noon) on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.

Final Cleaning
Guests are responsible for the final cleaning, which includes:
Washing the dishes and taking out the trash.
Making the beds and dusting the rugs.
Wiping down surfaces and sweeping/mopping the floors.
Cleaning the sauna and toilet.
Leaving the yard and BBQ area in a tidy condition.

Cleaning Service
You can purchase a final cleaning service on-site for 60 €.

If the cabin is left uncleaned or poorly cleaned, a deep-cleaning fee of 120 € (double price) will be charged.

Online Payments

Payment Provider: Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, business ID 2486559-4) acts as the payment intermediary for this online store. Visma Pay is registered in the payment institution register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. 

Payments are processed via Visma Pay’s web service. On your bank statement or invoice, Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy will appear as the recipient. The merchant is responsible for all obligations related to the sale.

Through Visma Pay, you can pay using Finnish online banking credentials, digital wallets, credit/debit cards, or via invoice/installments.

  • Banks: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, POP Bank, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken.

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard (Credit/Debit).

  • Wallets: MobilePay, Siirto.

  • Invoice/Installments: OP Lasku, Alisa Lasku.

MobilePay: Payments are charged to the card linked to your MobilePay app. Ensure online payments are enabled in your app settings.

OP Lasku: A flexible way to pay for purchases up to 5,000 €. Interest-free for up to 45 days. Available for users over 20 with Finnish banking credentials.

Alisa Lasku: Flexible payment in up to 60 installments. Available for consumers over 20.
