Helvetin Portti is an excellent base for cycling around the Helvetinjärvi National Park area.

The region’s versatile gravel roads and forested scenic routes offer diverse experiences, whether you are looking for a relaxed touring ride or a longer cycling adventure. The routes wind through lakes, ridges, and wilderness forests – right where you can truly feel the presence of nature.

For active cyclists

For mountain bikers
With the exception of a few restricted sections, mountain biking is permitted within the Helvetinjärvi National Park. When riding, please stay on clearly visible trails and show consideration for other trail users. Helvetinjärvi is a demanding mountain biking destination: steep terrain, rocky sections, and occasional sets of stairs make the routes technically challenging.
