Kankijärvi cabin
Your own peaceful retreat in Hell
The Kankijärvi Cabin is located within walking distance of the National Park entrance, nestled on the shore of the tranquil Lake Kankijärvi.
Built in 1998, this authentic round-log cabin covers 50 m², with 32 m² of living space and a spacious terrace.
Sleeping arrangements: The loft (approx. 20 m²) provides beds for four (2+2). By utilizing the sofa beds, the cabin can accommodate up to eight guests if needed.
Amenities: Fireplace, basic kitchen, TV, and indoor toilet (please note: the toilet is not available during winter).
Activities: Enjoy your own private beach with a pier, diving tower, and a rowing boat. There is also a separate lakeside sauna with a cozy fireplace room.
Pets are more than welcome!
Important Winter Information:
During the winter season, the running water must be turned off to prevent freezing. This means the indoor toilet is also out of use.
We provide fresh water in canisters, and during the ice season, we maintain a hole in the ice (avanto) by the sauna. Don't worry about the chores – you can leave the dishwashing to us!
