On a hot summer day, there’s nothing better than a dip in the water. Grab your swimwear and head down to our home farm beach to recharge your batteries for the rest of your hike!
The shore at Lake Luomajärvi has a sandy bottom and stays shallow for a long distance, making it a perfect spot even for small children.
Campfire Spot: There is a campfire site available by the beach. Please check the local forest fire warnings before lighting a fire.
Safety First: Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Swimming is at your own risk.
Alternative Swimming Spots:
You can also enjoy a swim by booking the yurt sauna at Lake Kankijärvi.
If you rent our Kankijärvi Cabin, you’ll have your own private sauna and beach on the shores of another beautiful lake.
Camping is allowed!
You are welcome to pitch your tent on the grassy area right next to the beach. Staying overnight is free of charge, and the campfire site is available for campers to use.
No advance booking is required for tent spots. You can easily find your way to the beach by using our area maps.
